On April 23, 2008 a community launch event sponsored by the IT Community Staff Puerto Rico will focused on the New Windows Server 2008 product. The launch will take place in the Universidad Interamericana Recinto de Ponce located in Ponce near the Airport Facilities "Aeropuerto Mercedita".

The Launch – Windows Server 2008, SQL 2008 & Visual Studio 2008

Windows Server 2008 – Launch Events

In just less than 48 hours the Windows Server 2008 (Longhorn) Launch will take place in the Puerto Rico Convention Center located in Isla Grande. A series of Launch events over the World is taking place and on Thursday 13, 2008 Puerto Rico will have its chance.

Windows Power Shell a script based shell toll is one of the new and exciting ways of performing day to day activities and management. Along with power shell the New Server Management Console where the CORE installation can be viewed and monitored.
