Deployment of Windows… FAST and EASY!
On Friday May 7th 2010 an MDT Training will take place. Please note the event is by confirmed invitation ONLY…
If you have been confirmed, your space has been separated and you plan to run and execute the DEMOS please plan for the following:
1. Download the WAIK – Windows Automated Installation Kit for windows 7.
2. Download the MDT 2010.
3. Have your copy of Windows 7 Ready… you should have the .ISO or physical DVD. You will need it!
4. Have a valid and installed Virtualization tool, such as : Windows Virtual PC, Virtual PC 2007 SP1, Hyper V.
5. Have more than 50 GB of space available / free on your drive, after you have downloaded items 1-4 on this list.
5. Have more than 2.5 GB of RAM available on your HOST machine.
6. Take a multi-power Outlet just in case you need it to connect to a power source.
7. Be ready to have fun and have a knowledge transfer DAY!
NOTE: We will create virtual machines so be prepared.
